Ilayathalapathi Vijay’s, 49th film Vettaikaran pooja was held today (22nd February 2009) at AVM Film Studios famous Pillayar Kovil (Vinayagar Temple).
Among those who participated in the simple ‘pooja’ were Vijay and his wife Sangeetha, his dad S.A. Chandrasekar, Producers AVM Balasubramanian and his son .B. Gurunath Meiyappan, the director of the film Babu Sivan, music director Vijay Antony cameraman Gopinath and guest Dharani.
Vettaikaran is the title of an old MGR film. It is Vijay’s 49th film and is said to be an action adventure film. Anushka the hot and happening girl is being paired for the first time with Vijay in the film.
